Power(s) - Being a Half-Satoul, she has super-strength, cannot feel pain directly, very sturdy skin, sharp claws and teeth she can summon at will, ice and fire manipulation. She has a Satoul self which was born with her. Her name is Boo; she can transform into any animal at will and also has a smaller Satoul form. When injured, her pain is felt by both Boo and Katherine. Boo is the "Soul" or "Beast" within Katherine. If Boo dies, Katherine dies, and vice versa. Boo will give birth to 2 baby Soul-halves for Daemon and Star.

Bio - 

    Second born of the Jacobs family, Katherine was the black sheep of the family. Her mother was having an affair with a Satoul leader, a Satoul with a human form named Azazel, which lead to Katherine. Caleb knew about this affair shortly after Katherine's birth and, after much fighting, finally agreed to let Jo Anna keep her. However, he put a brand on Katherine's stomach that of a bat, an animal Caleb truly despised. Boo showed up shortly after as a baby Satoul. Jo Anna took her in, knowing she'd be part of Katherine, because of how tiny she was and how Katherine never cried as a baby, and it was all Boo's cries.

Katherine grew up neglected and abused by Caleb. Sibella saw every bit of the abuse, and always felt guilty when Caleb showed affection to her but not Katherine. Katherine became bitter at a very young age because of the constant hatred she received from her step-father. It grew and grew as more siblings were born. After Katherine came Noel, then Jeremy, then Layla, and lastly, Justin. When Justin was born, their village was attacked by Satouls due to their mother ending it off for good with Azazel. Jo Anna and Caleb unfortunately died during the ambush. Sibella was put in charge of the family as well as raising baby Justin. She attempted to keep everything together but Katherine could see she was "too weak" to do it the right way. Katherine became emotionally distant from the other siblings except with Layla. She had Layla on her side; she pitted her against the others as well. It was a very tense household, and it didn't get any better when Katherine unlocked her Satoul potential.

One day, tension between the siblings were rising. Sibella wanted to do what was best for the entire family while Katherine only wanted to use them for her own needs. This led to Sibella saying something really cold about Katherine which almost resulted in a physical altercation. Jeremy stepped in before it could happen, but Katherine grabbed him by the hair and slammed his head into a wall, killing him instantly. She didn't realize her own strength. Noel, who saw the entire thing, went up against Katherine, knowing very well he might die as well. Instead, Katherine told Noel to leave and never come back, and if she ever saw his face again, she would kill everyone in the family. Noel, scared that Katherine means what she says, left shortly after. Sibella also left with toddler Justin, not wanting to get involved with Katherine's horrible actions and not wanting her influence on Justin. Katherine was expecting Layla to leave... But she didn't. She stayed behind, believing Katherine was still good inside, that she just needed a positive influence. 

Katherine kept to herself for years and never made contact with any of the family. Until one day, she found out her true heritage with the Satouls through one named Zeno. He sniffed her out; he was drawn to her because she was his little sister. She welcomed him with open arms as family as she felt completely abandoned by the others. Around this time, Layla had left Katherine to be with the others who had reunited in a home with friends.

Katherine grew very close with this new family and life. She is respected as a head Satoul, despite being only half. She's incredibly protective of her brother as he is of her. She's still very bitter towards her other siblings, and won't rest till they suffer the way she's suffered.

Holds a grudge against the Val kingdom for taking her hostage and mind-controlling Zeno. She wouldn't mind sending an army their way.

Doesn't like the term "Princess".

Has pretty bad insomnia, so she's usually more active at night.

Teaching Zeno how to talk.

Despite Zeno being the older brother, she's the more "mature" of the two, and sometimes forgets that he's older than her.
